COVID-19 Changes

a. Please arrive for your appointment at your scheduled time. If you arrive earlier than your appointment time, you will be asked to wait in your vehicle to reduce chances of further spreading.

b.   Masks are now optional (Oct 2022) - however, if you wish your practitioner practitioner to wear a mask for the duration of your treatment, we will honour that request

What you can expect from us

a. We added more time in between patients to ensure that we properly sanitize everything before your appointment.

b. We no longer accept cash as payment to prevent the spread. We accept debit, visa and mastercard and AMEX

What do I need to know before my appointment?

a. Fill out an online intake form from your appointment confirmation email.  If you are unable to fill it in online, you can do so at the clinic.

What should I expect?

a. Prior to treatment, we will perform a thorough assessment through history questions and orthopedic tests (if applicable).  This will give our therapists the information to devise a custom-tailored treatment plan to help transition you back on the road to recovery.  By performing an assessment, it will give both you and therapist an objective and subjective measure to gauge the overall improvements of your body after the treatment.

b. During the treatment, you may experience some therapeutic pains.  The therapist will be sure to check in when working in areas of tension to make sure we are not hurting you.

c. Once the treatment is complete, we will ensure that you understand the protocol of your homecare, to provide you with longer sustained results, while increasing the awareness of your body, and areas of your lifestyle that may need modification.

Cancellation Policy

a. If you are unable to make your appointment, please cancel your appointment online, this way your space is opened up immediately and someone who is in need of a treatment may book in.

b. To avoid a cancellation fee, please provide our therapists with at least 24 hours notice.  Please note, the clinic reserves the right to charge the full appointment fee if not given sufficient notice.  Thank you for understanding.

What should I wear for my appointment?

Please bring athletic wear with you. (Tank-top, sports bra, t-shirt and shorts.)

What do I need to bring?

a. Please bring with you your Care Card & Benefits Card (if applicable)

b. If you are in an open ICBC case, please bring your doctors referral, claim number, case manager’s name and number.

Can I go back to exercising or training?

This is a case-by-case situation and be sure to have this conversation with your therapist.  When in doubt, it wouldn’t hurt to let your body recover!

I feel sore/tender after my appointment.

It is normal to feel sore and slight discomfort after receiving a treatment.  If this is your first therapeutic treatment, your body will need time to adjust accordingly, but should not last longer than a few days.  As treatments become more consistent, you’ll notice the recovery time will shorten.
