Ryan is a Registered Massage Therapist who graduated from Vancouver Career College and has a Bachelor's in Kinesiology from Douglas College. He believes that everyone can become more functionally optimal when they are more aware of what their body needs. Using massage therapy can help not only with injury rehabilitation but also with preventative therapy before an injury happens.

Ryan uses deep tissue and active release myofascial stretching techniques to help patients reduce pain, improve function, and increase mobility. Using these techniques, Ryan tailors each treatment to each individual’s goals.

Ryan has experience treating SFU athletes along with senior care-home patients who had a variety of conditions. He learned a lot from these volunteering opportunities, but his favourite lesson from school is a quote: “Motion is the lotion.”

Using his 5-years of kinesiology experience and active rehabilitation programming, Ryan can provide effective home-care exercises and stretching after massages for more long-term improvements.

Ryan enjoys playing basketball, volleyball, video games, and doing a mixture of bodybuilding with powerlifting workouts at the gym in his free time.
