What is Softwave Therapy?

Softwave Therapy is designed to help alleviate pain and accelerate the body’s natural healing processes. Our therapists use a handheld tool to generate high-frequency sound waves which reach deeper tissues like muscles and joints. The sound waves create gentle pressure changes in the targeted area, stimulating the cells and improving blood flow. This helps the body start repairing damaged tissue, reduce inflammation, and ease pain.

Shockwave vs Softwave Therapy

SoftWave therapy and Shockwave therapy are both forms of treatment that use acoustic waves, but they have some key differences:

Technology and Mechanism: Shockwave therapy uses focused, high-intensity waves for targeted bursts, while SoftWave therapy uses unfocused, low-intensity waves over a broader area.

Energy Delivery: Shockwave therapy concentrates energy on specific deep tissue points, whereas SoftWave therapy distributes energy widely, affecting both superficial and deep tissues.

Treatment Experience: Shockwave therapy is intense and may require anesthesia; SoftWave therapy is gentler and usually does not require pain management.

Tissue Impact: Shockwave therapy induces microtrauma to promote healing, in contrast to SoftWave therapy, which stimulates regenerative processes without trauma.
